If you live in or near Chamblee, Georgia, mark your calendars for the chance to experience live, outdoor music for free during the Chamblee Summer Concert Series. The lineup was just recently made available ahead of the first event on May 6th, but if you missed that concert, don’t worry, because there are plenty more on the way. Both Peachtree and Keswick Park will be hosting the events, so make sure to check the location before heading out to your concert.
In Chamblee’s downtown, concert attendees are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the music of various musical artists. The next three concerts will take place on June 3rd, July 4th, and August 5th, with the June and August shows taking place in Peachtree, and the July 4th show taking place in Keswick. Admission to the concert is free, but there will be food and drinks available for purchase onsite.
June 3rd marks the Face to Face show, featuring Elton John and Billy Joel tribute artists Joey Riedel and Michael John. Together, the two of them have worked together to create a show that has more than just music, but fun interactive moments such as sing-alongs, as well as performance segments. At Keswick Park on July 4th, DEPARTURE, the most well-respected Journey tribute band in the nation, offers six years of experience and award-winning members to concert goers, who will get to enjoy the full breadth of Journey’s discography. Last of all, an 80s band known as the Molly Ringwalds will be performing on August 5th, showcasing all different kinds of music that was popular during the decade.
